Hi, and thanks for visiting my website. My name is Jarod M. Reyes and I am a marketing and operations professional from Broomfield, Colorado. I am a Colorado native that loves the outdoors and my hometown sports teams! I have a passion for design, food, marketing and love to constantly learn. I have two kids, Elliotte and Ezrah and a wife lovely wife-Chelsea. I currently am obtaining my MBA in Marketing through the University of Northern Colorado and am anticipated to graduate in April 2026.

My professional career started with Cheba Hut “Toasted” Subs who I was with for 14 years. I started out as a delivery driver while getting my degree at the University of Northern Colorado (Go Bears!). I eventually worked my way up to a General Manager position and District Manager position and eventually did training/operation and compliance for their HQ office in Fort Collins. Some notable projects while in the operations department were building the first GM Manual, developing and implementing the new franchise training program, opening new stores as a lead trainer and training new franchisees to run their shops. In my last few years with Cheba Hut I moved into a branding role ending my employment there in 2025 as the Senior Brand Manager. In this role I was responsible for merchandising, overseeing a design team and developing system wide campaigns that drove traffic to shops. During my time at HQ I helped the business grow from 20 units to 80 and managed a branding team of 4 employees.

My latest role has been a senior marketing manager for White Hat Insurance Advisors, a small brokerage out of Longmont, Colorado. At White Hat, I was responsible for all marketing initiatives, including-website projects, PPC management, graphic design, email campaigns, content creation, grassroots initiatives and social media. I created internal SOPs for the company, developed high quality video for different ad placements and improved web traffic through SEO optimization.

About Me

4/20 Campaign

4/20 was the biggest sales day of the year for Cheba Hut, but as the green wave spread throughout our markets we were noticeably losing market share. We had to adjust and entice those that weren’t loyalists. We decided to pour more into the design assets, where I was responsible for commissioning world renound artist, Bene Rohlmann to design our collectible frisbee as well as the crew shirts. Additionally, I had him design some joint papers which we gave away for free. We marketed them as limited edition and while supplies last. This new strategy increased YOY event sales and gave us a ton of earned media on socials.

At Cheba Hut we did quarterly marketing campaigns and for our Q3 2024 campaign we did a free stadium cup for the first 100 people in line and those people got free Kool-Aid for a year. This strategy drove traffic to all shops in our system and provided a novelty item that loyalists lined up at the doors to get their hands on!
